About Me
Hi, I’m Carol
My passion is breaking the shame and stigma around terms like “alcoholic” that keep people believing they’ll always be stuck. That’s a lie.
By uncovering truths and addressing limiting beliefs, I guide individuals toward moderating their alcohol consumption—and even achieving spontaneous sobriety.
At 41, I found myself widowed and raising two very young sons. While I initially stopped drinking for 1 ½ years after my husband’s death, when I began again, it quickly escalated, and I found myself consuming more wine than ever before. I justified my drinking because most of the Christian women I spent time with drank as well. Bible studies even came with wine.
Then came Covid, the shutdown, isolation, and the consequences of some poor decisions I made a few years prior. It felt like the brick fortress I had built around myself came crashing down. I had never felt so alone or depressed. I didn’t want to die, but I didn’t want to live anymore. The shame, regret, and darkness seemed insurmountable.
Until one day, I found a book by Lotta Dann titled Mrs. D. Goes Without. For the first time in a long while, I felt a glimmer of hope. That book led me to more writings and podcasts from people like me—individuals who had struggled with alcohol but had found freedom from its grasp. It was life-changing to discover “my people.”
During this time of profound struggle, I reexamined my relationship with alcohol and found a path to healing, empowerment, and lasting change. I want that same freedom and self-love for you, which is why I became a certified coach. You don’t have to endure another day feeling alone, stuck, or hopeless.
Through personal experience and compassionate self-discovery—using Affective Liminal Psychology—I’ve learned that true transformation isn’t about judgment or willpower. It’s about curiosity, grace, and a deeper understanding of ourselves. This, combined with a Biblical perspective informs everything I do as a coach.
I provide a safe, supportive space where clients can explore their goals and beliefs while taking confident steps toward a more fulfilling life. By combining cutting-edge insights into how the brain and body work with personalized coaching, I help individuals address habits and behaviors that no longer serve them. So you can create lasting change that goes beyond your relationship with alcohol.

I’m here to walk alongside you. Together, we’ll rediscover your strengths, renew your mindset, and unlock the potential already within you.
